Chapter 10 - THE FOREVER KINGDOM

Five years later.
The Northern Territories had entered an unprecedented era of wealth, peace, and prosperity.
The corruption that had once rotted Obsidian Ridge from the inside out was entirely eradicated. The alliance with the Southern Territories had been restored through trade rather than war, and the royal hospital built by Luna Abigail was now recognized as the greatest medical academy in the continent.
On a bright, sunlit afternoon, seven-year-old Prince Finn stood in the central training yard, holding a wooden practice sword.
He was tall, strong, his dark hair flying in the wind, his golden eyes filled with intense determination as he sparred with Beta Gideon.
Beside the yard, sitting on a soft velvet blanket under the shade of a massive oak tree, sat Abigail.
At thirty years old, she was more beautiful than ever, radiating the serene, undeniable power of a true High Luna.
Playing on the blanket beside her were four-year-old twin pups—a boy named Leo, who had Lawson’s coal-black hair and playful spirit, and a girl named Maya, who had Abigail’s intelligent green eyes and gentle smile.
Lawson walked out from the castle archway, clad in a simple linen shirt and trousers, holding two cups of fresh herbal tea.
He walked over to the blanket, handing a cup to Abigail before sitting down beside her and pulling his daughter into his lap.
"Look at him," Lawson said proudly, gesturing toward Finn, who had just executed a flawless defensive parry against Gideon. "He’s going to be a far better warrior than I ever was."
"He has a good teacher," Abigail smiled, leaning over to kiss Lawson’s cheek. "And a peaceful kingdom to grow up in."
Little Maya giggled, reaching up to pull Lawson’s beard. "Daddy! Make the wolf shadow!"
Lawson chuckled, raising his large hand toward the sunlit stone wall behind them, casting a perfect shadow puppet of a roaring wolf that made both twins squeal with delight.
Finn finished his practice session, running over to the blanket with a bright, sweat-stained smile. He dropped his wooden sword and collapsed into the grass beside Abigail, resting his head on her lap.
"I beat Gideon twice today, Mama!" Finn boasted proudly.
"I saw, my brave prince," Abigail laughed, gently stroking his dark hair—the very same fur where she had once pulled thirty-four black steel needles five years ago.
There were no scars left on his skin. No pain left in his heart.
Only love, strength, and an unbreakable bond forged in the darkest of nights.
Lawson reached across the blanket, taking Abigail’s hand in his, locking their fingers together. Their Luna and Alpha rings glinted brightly under the golden sunlight.
"Thank you, Abigail," Lawson whispered softly, his golden eyes filled with an eternal, boundless love. "For giving me my son back. For giving me a family. For giving me everything."
Abigail looked around at her husband, her three beautiful children, and the peaceful, thriving castle surrounding them.

"We saved each other, Lawson," Abigail replied softly, squeezing his hand tight. "And this is our forever."
High above Obsidian Ridge, the wind blew through the blooming Moon-Lily fields, carrying the sweet song of a healed pack into the endless blue sky.
