Chapter 8 - The Truth Exposed

Outside the gates of the Beverly Hills mansion, over fifty news vans, reporters, and camera crews had gathered, alerted by the sudden arrival of federal vehicles.
At 1:00 p.m., Daniel stepped out onto the front steps of the estate. He stood behind a bank of microphones, surrounded by his legal team and Special Agent Richardson.
Flashbulbs exploded like lightning against the overcast sky. Questions were shouted from every direction.
"Mr. Whitmore! Is it true Harrison Hart was arrested?" "Daniel! What happened to your fiancée?" "Is Whitmore Holdings facing bankruptcy?"
Daniel held up a hand, and the wall of noise instantly silenced.
"Thirty minutes ago," Daniel spoke clearly into the microphones, his voice broadcast live to millions of viewers across the country, "federal authorities executed arrest warrants for Harrison Hart and Vanessa Hart. For the past six years, my family has been the target of a massive, criminal conspiracy involving embezzlement, extortion, and the forced disappearance of my younger brother, Andrew Whitmore."
A collective gasp swept through the crowd of reporters.
"Andrew did not die in a sailing accident six years ago," Daniel continued, his voice ringing with absolute authority. "He was targeted, injured, and held against his will in an illegal facility in Mexico to prevent him from exposing Harrison Hart's corporate crimes. Last night, through the brave actions of law enforcement and private security, Andrew was rescued."
The media erupted into chaos. Reporters screamed questions, camera operators rushed forward, and news chyrons across every major network instantly flashed the headline: WHITMORE HEIR FOUND ALIVE: BILLIONAIRE'S FIANCÉE ARRESTED IN MASSIVE CONSPIRACY.

"Whitmore Holdings will undergo a full, transparent audit," Daniel declared, ignoring the noise. "Every dollar stolen by Harrison Hart will be recovered. But more importantly, my family is finally whole again. Thank you."
Without taking questions, Daniel turned and walked back inside the mansion, closing the grand heavy doors behind him, shutting out the noise of the world.
