Chapter 10 - THE NEW CHAPTER

Four months later.
The summer sun shone brightly over the private medical suite at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Outside the room, Marcus and four Vale guards stood post in the corridor, ensuring total privacy and security.
Inside the room, soft classical music played softly in the background.
Damian sat on the edge of the bed, wearing a simple dark shirt with his sleeves rolled up. In his arms, wrapped in a soft blue wool blanket, lay a newborn baby boy with a head of thick dark hair and bright, curious hazel eyes.
Elena lay against the white pillows, looking exhausted but glowing with pure, radiant happiness.
"He looks just like you," Elena smiled softly, reaching out to touch the baby's tiny fingers.
Damian looked down at the tiny life cradled in his hands—a man who had spent his entire adulthood surrounded by shadows and danger, now holding pure innocence.
"He has your eyes, Elena," Damian murmured, his voice thick with uncharacteristic emotion. "He has the eyes of a healer."
He gently placed the baby back into Elena's arms, leaning down to kiss her lips with deep, tender passion.
"What are we naming him?" Damian asked gently, sitting beside her and wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
Elena looked down at her son, then up at the man who had transformed her life from a cold struggle for survival into a paradise of love and protection.
"Gabriel," Elena whispered softly. "Gabriel Vale."

Damian’s dark eyes filled with tears of quiet joy as he looked at his wife and his son. The blood debt that had begun in a dark alley fourteen years ago was finally settled—not with violence or vengeance, but with love, healing, and a new beginning that would last forever.
Outside the window, the sun rose high over the Manhattan skyline, shining brightly down on a family that was finally whole.
