Chapter 10 - THE VALE DYNASTY

Three months later.
The private maternity wing at St. Jude's Hospital was silent except for the soft monitor chimes and the gentle hum of the air conditioner.
Outside the suite, Marcus and four armed guards maintained a discreet, watchful perimeter.
Inside the room, soft afternoon sunlight poured through the sheer curtains, illuminating the king-sized bed.
Mara lay propped against plush pillows, tired but radiating an angelic warmth.
In her arms, wrapped in a soft organic cotton blanket, lay a beautiful newborn baby girl with a head of fine dark hair and bright, intelligent hazel eyes.
Adrian sat on the edge of the bed, his dark suit jacket tossed over a chair, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
The feared billionaire mafia boss looked completely helpless as he held his daughter’s tiny hand with his little finger.
"She’s perfect, Mara," Adrian whispered, his voice trembling with rare, overwhelming emotion. "She’s absolute perfection."
"Do you want to hold her?" Mara smiled softly.
Adrian looked almost terrified. "What if I drop her? She's so small..."
"You hold the entire city in your hands, Adrian Vale," Mara gently teased him, carefully transferring the bundle into his arms. "You can handle your daughter."
Adrian gathered his newborn child against his chest. As the baby let out a tiny, soft sigh and nestled against his warmth, a tear slipped down Adrian’s cheek—the first tear he had shed since he was a child.
He leaned over, pressing a soft kiss against Mara's lips, then bowed his head to kiss the baby's forehead.
"What name did you choose?" Adrian asked softly, looking up at his wife.
Mara smiled, her heart full to bursting as she looked at her husband and her child—a family built on truth, justice, and an indestructible bond.
"Evelyn," Mara answered softly. "Evelyn Rose Vale."
Adrian looked down at his daughter, his eyes shining with infinite love and fierce protection.

"Welcome to the world, Evelyn," Adrian whispered softly. "You are safe now. You are home."
And outside the window, over the great city that Adrian ruled and Mara had healed, a bright rainbow arched across the autumn sky, signaling a new dawn for the Vale family that would never end.
